Cole wants to bring service back to the role of the Sheriff’s department.
The office of Sheriff is extremely important and citizens need to have
someone ready to serve. Cole Butler is ready to lead the Rogers County
Sheriff’s Office into the future with progressive professionalism and
community policing. It is the sheriff’s solemn obligation to protect his
county as a whole. “Response time is important for the entire county not
just those citizens living near the county seat. There should be no
favorites in a Sheriff’s eyes.” Cole said, “I am not willing to continue with
the status quo in the sheriff's office.”
Cole offers an acronym of SERVE to provide a foundation for his vision
for the Rogers County Sheriff’s Department.
S- Service – A good Sheriff and his employees should have a servant’s
attitude.
E-Equality – The laws apply to every citizen, no one is exempt.
R-Responsibility- to enforce the laws, keeping roads safe and stopping
crime.
V-Visibility/accountability- the workings of the Sheriff’s department
must be visible to the public.
E-Everyone- old-timers and newcomers are entitled to the same
protection and service of the Sheriff’s office.
